What is an ISP proxy
An ISP proxy gives you an IP address registered to a real internet provider, like Comcast or Vodafone, hosted on fast datacenter hardware. To the sites you visit, your traffic looks like it comes from a home connection while keeping datacenter speed and stability. This mix makes ISP proxies (also sold as static residential proxies) a good default for work that needs one steady, trusted identity: managing accounts, checking prices from a consistent location, or long browser automation sessions. The address stays yours for as long as you rent it; it does not rotate underneath you.
If you need thousands of constantly changing addresses for heavy scraping, residential proxies fit better. If you only need raw speed and don’t care about looking residential, datacenter proxies cost less.
